Location: Edgewood Park

My field study is located at Edgewood Park. I chose this area for many reasons, one being how close it is to where I live. I also chose this as a study area because Edgewood park is a very diverse area. On one trail you can find dry grasslands, woodlands, creeks, and well vegetated areas. My study area is in a woodland area which had many different biotic and abiotic factors in it. Some immediate plants that I noticed were Oak Trees, moss, lichen, and long, tall grasses covering the majority of the area. At first I didn't see any animals, however I could hear many insects buzzing.
